Every year on 29 September, World Adhesives Day celebrates a technology that, although often unnoticed, plays an essential role in countless products and processes in our everyday lives.

From the packaging that protects the products we use to labels, hygiene products, automotive components, furniture and construction materials, adhesives play a vital role across a wide range of industries.

Adhesives do much more than simply bond materials. Their ongoing development helps make production processes faster, more efficient and more automated, while also addressing new challenges related to material consumption, recyclability and the circular economy.

In the case of hot-melt adhesives, their fast bonding time, versatility and ability to adapt to different applications have made them a key technology in numerous industrial processes.
